Luxury Malachite & Gold Pendants

Today’s subject is malachite pendants set in gold. When blogging, it’s always good to niche down so that the right people find you. So if you’re someone who’s on the lookout for a malachite pendant set in gold, you’re in the right place. Also, I’ve found so many that I liked that I’ve decided to niche this post even further down to luxury designer malachite pendants set in gold – Cartier, Bvlgari, VCA, Dior – bring it on!

But why would you want a malachite and gold pendant? Well for me, mostly because they’re SO PRETTY, the rich deep green is such a useful, versatile colour. I have a malachite coloured handbag that I’ve had over ten years and wear it all the time, it goes with everything. You get the interest of colour with mega versatility. All these pendants could be worn with casual and formal outfits, taking you from daily life, to evenings out and everything in between. Plus if you’re into the properties of gemstones, this one will protect you from negative energy. Who doesn’t want that? And being set in gold, you don’t have to worry about your skin reacting to these pieces, they won’t tarnish and they’ll hold their value.

Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra

The OG is the VCA Alhambra. And very nice it is too. But also somewhat ubiquitous. So if you want a more unusual option, then here are some alternatives that deserve their moment in the sun too.

Bvlgari Diva’s Dream Pendant

The Bvlgari (Richard Burton reckoned that the only Italian word Liz Taylor know was Bvlgari) Diva’s Dream pendant is a beautiful fan shape. Set with diamonds for a bit of extra sparkle. Such a beautiful lines and though you pay more for the name, keep the receipt and the packaging and you’ll not have any issues with resale if you decide you don’t love it or need some cash. With all these pieces being designer it’s the same for all if them in this post. Keep your receipts and packaging and you’ll maximise any resale.

Right, I couldn’t decide between two Cartier options so you get both. First up:

Yellow Gold, Diamond and Malachite Les Berlingots de Cartier Necklace

This is different to the rest of the selection as it’s an edgy oblong shape. Slightly reminiscent of the column pendants you get in head shops. Love it! £5500 so v pricey, but you get a red box, yellow gold, malachite and diamonds. If you’re going to buy this, I’d make a day of it, schlepp off to the boutique and get waited on hand and foot for the experience. If you’re dropping that much, always good to get a free glass of fizz too.

Amulette De Cartier Necklace XS in Malachite

And now the budget Cartier version. This one’s only two grand you know.  Bargain! Red box, check; solid gold, check; malachite, check; diamond check. Love this one, It would probably be my choice.

Christian Dior Rose De Vents Malachite Necklace

But wait! Christian Dior edges it out with this Rose de Vents offering. The North Star design does it for me – being a navy brat, I can’t pass up on any maritime symbolism. Your North Star will guide you home. You get versatility with this line, you can wear the pendant motif side out or plain side out. And this is the smaller necklace – you can also get a larger pendant for £5400 but it’s even more super versatile because you can wear it long or doubled so it’s actually a bargain you see.

Louis Vuitton Colour Blossom Pendant Malachite

Hang on, here’s another one – loooook at the lovely puffy shape of it! With that boujee LV motif. Gorgeous!

Messika Malachite Lucky Move Pendant

And finally, the Messika Malachite Lucky Move pendant. The Lucky Move line features bezel set diamonds that move along a track, the perfect fidget jewellery to help alleviate anxiety. And with a halo of pave set diamonds to add some extra sparkle.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the roundup! As these are all so spendy, I’ll collate a more budget friendly list manana, watch this space!
